The Arizona Women's Film Festival is taking place this Thursday, October 3, at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff.

The festival is a fundraising event benefitting Sharon's Manor, an affordable housing organization for families impacted by domestic violence.

Films shown at the festival will cover women's issues, as well as provide a female perspective on topics such as travel, art and science. A list of films is available on the festival's website.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets range from $8.50 to $17.50 and can be purchased online through the Orpheum Theater.
