A group of local artists is teaming up with the Casa Grande Municipal Airport to bring aviation-centric art to the exhibits inside the airport terminal.
The airport has had art on display for many years, but most of it has had nothing to do with aeronautics. That will change later this year with an art show called "Plane Air." According to the Casa Grande Dispatch, the show will feature local artists using various media to portray the theme.
Members of the Casa Grande Art Association will contribute to the show. Some of the new work will replace the existing exhibits, but many of the historical photos will remain. Artists will also be able to sell their work during the show.
