Nobody knows Lake Powell like Gary Ladd. The longtime Arizona Highways contributor has been making photographs of the lake and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area for decades. In our January issue, Ladd's photos accompanied The Great Beyond, his essay about the other attractions in the Page area.

Now, you can register to join Ladd on a houseboat trip around Lake Powell to photograph some of his favorite spots. The three workshops in 2015 are March 14-20, October 20-26 and October 30-November 8. The cost of the trips varies but includes food and accommodations.

From the workshops' description:

Here’s your opportunity to tag along with this landscape’s premier photographer as he visits all his favorite locations at the best time of day for beautiful pictures. Gary has been exploring the lake, its canyons, and the surrounding landscape since 1975 and has been leading photography houseboat trips for Arizona Highways and other groups for over 20 years - so you know he knows where to go and what to shoot. If you have ever thought about exploring this amazing lake that has been so little appreciated for what it offers photographers, this may be just the trip you’ve been waiting for.
