It's March, and that means Arizona's wildflower season is in full swing. As always, our friends at Phoenix's Desert Botanical Garden are helping photographers find the best blooms around the state.

You can visit the DBG's Wildflower Tracking Site to get real-time information on which flowers are blooming, and where. The site also links to a Pinterest board with a map of where to find wildflowers.

Members of the public are also invited to join the site in tracking wildflowers. You can tweet or Instagram photos with the hashtag #azwildflowerwatch, or you can email your wildflower shots to [email protected]. Make sure to include where you made the photo. You don't need to be a professional photographer, either — an iPhone photo is just fine.

The DBG partners with several state and national parks in Arizona to get information on wildflowers from around the state.

To see a stunning portfolio of Arizona wildflowers, pick up a copy of our March issue, which is on newsstands now.
