I used a longer lens with a more impactful close up shot. I edited the photo to appear more vibrant to show off the colors of nature in a desert. Some people don't realize that Desert biomes can also have very beautiful plants and flowers inside.

I took this image from the top of the Jerome hills to an industrial site down below. It is important for people to see this image because it represents the modern balance of man made work against the natural beauty of our state. Many people who live in the city often forget how we are surrounded by such natural art because we are enveloped into the buildings and city lights. People feel that we need to leave somewhere else to really understand art and nature but in reality, people just need to look around to realize how beautiful our home is.

I really think this photo captures the true beauty of Arizona. The clouds are beautiful, as are the wildflowers. There is quite a bit going on in this photo, making it all so much dreamier.
