U. S. HIGHWAY 80-New Mexico line to Douglas, 51 miles, oil surfaced. Douglas to Bisbee, 25 miles, concrete. Bisbee to 8 miles north of Tucson, 115 miles, oil surfaced. Eight miles north of Tucson to Florence, 60 miles, good gravel. (Alternate route, State 84 and 87, Tucson to Coolidge, oil surfaced.) Florence to Desert Wells, 59 miles, oil surfaced. Desert Wells to Phoenix, 24 miles, concrete. Phoenix to Hassayampa, 44 miles, concrete. Hassayampa to 9 miles east of Yuma, 146 miles, oil sur-faced, except five miles between Hassayampa and Gillespie Dam, which is under construction; loose gravel. Four miles east of Yuma to California state line, 9 miles, asphalt pavement.

U. S. HIGHWAY 180-New Mexico line west to Duncan to Florence Junction, 175 miles, oil surfaced, concrete through larger towns. (Florence Jet. to Phoenix over U. S. 60, 80 and 89, oil surfaced and concrete.) U. S. HIGHWAY 66-New Mexico state line to Sanders, 22 miles, oil sur-faced. Sanders to Goodwater, 36 miles, gravel surfaced, good. Goodwater to Holbrook, 15 miles, oil surfaced. Holbrook to Canyon Padre, 65 miles, oil surfaced. Canyon Padre to Flagstaff, 25 miles, asphalt pavement. Flagstaff to Ash Fork, (junction Highway 89), 52 miles, oil surfaced. Ash Fork to Chino Point, 11 miles west of Seligman, 36 miles, oil surfaced. Chino Point to Haulpai Indian Reservation line, 21 miles, gravel, fair. Through Haulpai Indian Reservation, 16 miles, oil sur-faced. Haulpai Indian Reservation line to Carrows Ranch, 7 miles, good gravel. Carrows Ranch to Valentine, 4 miles old road, narrow and rough with sharp turns. Valentine to Hackberry, 7 miles, oil surfaced. Hackberry to Kingman, 24 miles, gravel, good. Kingman to Topock, California state line, 56 miles, oil surfaced.

U. S. HIGHWAY 60-New Mexico State line to Springerville, 15 miles, gravel; good. Springerville to McNary (temporary state route 73, 39 miles, narrow road, gravel and cinder surfac-ed; fair. McNary to Globe (temporary state route 73), 115 miles, narrow and winding, earth and gravel surfaced to U. S. 180 pavement 12 miles east of Globe; fair in dry weather. Globe to Phoenix, 94 miles, U. S. 180 to Florence Junction, U. S. 80 to Phoenix, oil sur-faced and concrete pavement. Phoenix to Beardsley, 21 miles, concrete. Beardsley to Aguila, 61 miles, oil surfaced. Aguila to Wenden, 23 miles, new road under oil surface construction, traffic using old road; fair. Wenden to Salome, 5 miles, new road under oil sur-face construction, 5 mile detour, fair. Salome to Ehrenberg, 57 miles, oil sur-faced.

U. S. HIGHWAY 89-Utah state line to Grand Canyon Bridge, 73 miles, good gravel. Grand Canyon Bridge to Tanner's Wash, good gravel road. Tanner's Wash to Cedar Ridge, 11 miles, rough. Cedar Ridge to Cameron, 40 miles, good, gravel. Cameron to nine miles north of Townsend, 38 miles, gravel, fair. Nine miles north of Townsend to Townsend, gravel, good. Junction U. S. 66, six miles east of Flagstaff to Ash Fork, see highway 66. Ash Fork to Prescott, 53 miles, oil surfaced. Prescott to Wickenburg, 60 miles, oil surface.

STATE HIGHWAY 61 - St. Johns to New Mexico State line (Zuni), 42 miles, partly gravel surfaced.

STATE HIGHWAY 77-Holbrook to Snowflake, 28 miles, gravel surface, fair. Snowflake to McNary, 41 miles, gravel surface, slippery in wet weather.

STATE HIGHWAY 64-Williams to Grand Canyon, 64 miles, oil surfaced.

STATE ROUTE 72-Hope to Bouse, 24 miles, gravel, fair. Bouse to Parker, 29 miles, loose gravel.

STATE HIGHWAY 79 - Granite Dells to Lonesome Valley, 9 miles oil surfaced. Lonesome Valley to Jerome, 17 miles, gravel, fair. Jerome to Cotton-wood, 8 miles, oil surface. Cottonwood to Flagstaff, 55 miles, gravel, fair.

STATE HIGHWAY 82 - Nogales to Tombstone, 71 miles, gravel surfaced; 5 miles on U. S. 80.

STATE HIGHWAY 81-Douglas to Clifton, 30 miles, gravel surfaced; good.

STATE HIGHWAY 75-Duncan to Clifton, 30 miles, gravel surfaced; good.

STATE HIGHWAY 71 - Clifton Junction to Clifton, 26 miles, gravel surfaced, fair. Clifton to Springerville (Coronado Trail), 122 miles, gravel surfaced, good in dry weather.

STATE HIGHWAY 73 (U. S. 60 Temporary)-Cutter to San Carlos to McNary, 103 miles, gravel and earth surfaced, narrow and winding in places; fair in dry weather.

STATE HIGHWAY 83 Sonoita to Vail Junction, 28 miles, gravel surfaced; good. Sharp curves, well protected.

STATE HIGHWAY 84-Gila Bend to Casa Grande, 57 miles; Casa Grande to Picacho Jct., 17 miles; Picacho Jct. to Tucson Jet., 46 miles, oil paved.

STATE HIGHWAY 88 Apache Trail Apache Jet. to Globe Jct. good gravel surface.

STATE HIGHWAY 62 Hope to Parker, 54 miles, partly improved desert road, fair to good.

U. S. HIGHWAY 91-Utah-Nevada state line, oil surface, excellent.

U. S. HIGHWAY 260 HolbrookSpringerville. Holbrook east six miles, oil surfaced. From six miles east to Concho, 44 miles, good gravel road. Concho to St. Johns, 15 miles, oil surfaced. St. Johns, 11 miles south, under construction. From 11 miles south to Springerville, 18 miles, oil surfaced.

STATE HIGHWAY 69-Kingman to Searchlight Junction, 32 miles, unimproved, maintained by Mohave county. Searchlight Junction to Colorado River Ferry, 55 miles, unimproved with the exception of approximately 5 miles of new grading west of Willow Beach. Entire 55 miles maintained by state; fair condition.
