BK-59 Mary South Hill, one of the more prolific of the Chemehuevi weavers, used willow, desert willow and devil's claw for this classic jar. (Circa 1930)-RAY MANLEY BK-61 The Chemehuevi Reservation is located in California, just across the Colorado River from Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Chemehuevi baskets are highly prized for their simple, uncluttered design and excellent craftsmanship.
