Dentist the Menace
If you think a trip to the dentist is overwhelming today, be glad you weren’t around in the 1800s. This re-created dentist’s office is part of a museum in a Western Arizona ghost town. In its heyday, the town was home to 3,000 people, and it supported mines that operated until the 1970s. By then, of course, dentistry had become a little less painful.
