Yours Sincerely
Was too busy with his practice to come but we took pictures of the thirty students and the nurse at the head of the table, wishing that our Dr. Montezuma could have been there to share or take all the glory for a wonderful job of doctoring. We did not know that the choice of our Dean brought to us the greatest physician we could have had in Chicago. Thank you again so much for his portrait. Carolyn Avery Tempe, Arizona
What Mr. Hillman says is true. The camel could never have played the important part of the horse in the development of the West. And just imagine! Hopalong Cassidy or Roy Rogers on a camel! How unromantic!

WRESTLER OF ATOMS
O mighty man, wrestler of atoms, Have you ever Chiseled a snowflake Or devised a seed? Have you yet chained windy weather Or sprouted A weed?
MY PRAYER
I pray my eyes may ever see The beauty all around Each perfumed flower, each verdant tree That in Nature's store abound. I pray my ears may ever know The song of birds at dawn, The symphony that greets the glow Of every fragrant morn. I pray my lips may ever sing A glad Te Deum of praise For each and every lovely thing I find along my ways. And when I leave this world behind When all my mortal years are done I pray this beauty I will find In the Land beyond the Sun.
AND TIRED TOO
The rolling stone may hoard no moss And leave no lasting traces, But as it travels it can say: "I'm surely getting places!"
LEGEND OF THE CONTENTED PINE TREE
A pine tree stood within the forest wide And preened himself for all the world to see; He knew a kingly throne his destiny With pages bowing low on every side. Without a sigh the cutter's ax he bore, And murmured not when saws tore him apart, Then when they clutched and rent his very heart He shed the dross which let his spirit soar; For was not he to be the throne of king? No price too great to pay for such a boon; But one fine day they laid him in a room, A kitchen where he heard a sweet bride sing. Long years have passed; we hear the pine tree speak: "A Home is where Love dwells; no more I seek."
