THOUGHT CAPSULES

Dick Seeger's thoughts are the foundation of his art. They represent a lifetime of waiting through periods and degrees of darkness for a rewarding place in the sun. After reading a resume of the artist's endeavors and events, from 1929 through 1973 we understand his summation to what we call the "Make-up of an Artist," as the "Seemingly Randomness of A Life That Comes Together, Breaks up, and Searches for Reasons Why and Continues."

We are fascinated with Dick Seeger's thoughts, and are always curiously captivated by the meticulous execution of his compositions, done with various mediums. His is an attention-compelling, thought-provoking art form.

"Panels on a Theme" of varied shapes, sizes and dimension are representative of the artist's wealth of creative talents. In addition to private collections, many of Seeger's compositions are commissions for corporate and industrial buyers which include United Air Lines, Republic American Insurance and Kaufman and Broad.

The Dick Seeger thoughts reproduced on pages 46 and 47 were selected from his "Books of Thoughts," available in three suites, each a card pack of 90 thoughts, related to Art, Architecture and Love.

Dick Seeger lives and works in Scottsdale where, since 1957, he has been part of the artistic and cultural ambience of the community.

Located 53 miles northwest of Phoenix in Wickenburg, Arizona is first class to a discriminating clientele. Riding is the primary activity with a corral of eighty horses and 20,000 acres of open desert riding country. Accommodations are superior and recreational facilities include golf, tennis, swimming, skeetshooting, cookouts and auto tours to places of interest. A 2600 ft. private airstrip is located 200 yards from the ranch house.
