GRANADA ROYALE HOMETELS Arizona born... Arizona based

Granada Royale Hometels, a unique concept in the accommodations industry, has combined the luxury of quality Spanish architecture, the warmth of open Arizona landscaping and the friendliness of a new idea into a growing and profitable business.

Hometels are as new as the name and as different from hotels, motels, apartment houses, and resorts as cactus is from a desert flower. Both may be in the same landscape, but each one approaches a different lifestyle.

A traveler's life at the four Phoenix Granada Royale Hometels includes luxurious and colorful suites, deep pile carpets, fully equipped kitchens, swimming spas, therapeutic baths, saunas, and exercise rooms. The guest is also offered free of charge a full Southwestern breakfast in the morning and two hours of complimentary cocktails each evening in a luxuriously appointed lounge.

The cost of the Granada Royale suite, which compares favorably with room prices in any of the major chains, includes the complimentary food, drinks and special services.

A businessman or a traveling family feels equally at home in a Hometel.

Barbeque pits dot the open courtyard landscaping and the living room-like lounge and recreation rooms invoke a casual and friendly atmosphere.

There is a no-tipping policy at the Hometels, but limousine service and special maid service which includes the kitchen dishes is part of the concept.

Meeting rooms are in constant use by the Hometels' businessman clientele.

Granada Royale Hometels was started in 1968 by Phoenix-based Robert Woolley. Mr. Woolley also developed the Pre-cision Companies which specialize in the mechanical and plumbing construction of hotels, motels and apartment com-plexes.

The Hometel concept was an immediate success in terms of occupancy, customer loyalty, and growth.

Other Arizona Hometels are planned for West Phoenix and Tucson. In addition, the Arizona architecture and land-scaping is being transported across the country via new Hometels in the Midwest and Southwest.

A plush new Hometel recently opened in Omaha, Nebraska, and gained quick success with its balconies, high arches, and inner courtyard replete with heavy vegetation.

The only major difference in the Arizona Hometels and those which will spring up in the Midwest is the open court-yard. The Midwest Hometels will sport a clear dome enclosure while Arizona Hometels will continue to be open.

Arizona Hometels can successfully go to Omaha but the sun still stays in Arizona.
