The desert north of Scottsdale, Arizona is the main background for these two pages with foreground pottery loaned by Lee's Indian Crafts, Phoenix. Left to right, the four vessels are an Acoma jar by Ruby Chavez, Maricopa bowl by Alma Lawrence, Isleta jar by S. Teller, and a Jemez bowl by Percingula M. Gachupin. Insert left is a Mohave vessel by Elmer V. Gates. Insert far right includes two Papago pieces by Laura Kerman. Center panel top to bottom Navajo pot, maker unknown, long necked redware vase and "warped" rim bowl by Maricopa potter Ida Redbird, vase with handles, maker unknown, and a jar by Mary Juan, Maricopa.
