Life Size Bronzes
BY: EARL PETROFF
John Henry Waddell's most recent major work, DANCE, consists of four groups of life size bronzes. The fluid, graceful sculptures "perform" on carpets of seasonal low-growing flowers in planters on the north mall of the Civic Plaza. Made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and Humanities, The Valley National Bank, Mr. Walter Bimson and Mrs. Lewis Ruskin, Waddell's dancing figures symbolize the performing arts.
