The Arizona Game and Fish Department has redesigned its website to be more mobile-friendly, and the department has also launched a new customer portal for hunting and fishing licenses and related information.

Game and Fish said in a news release that the portal allows customers to create a secure account to manage their contact information and licenses, as well as access information on draw results and bonus points.

The portal also includes the new "I Support Wildlife" program, which wildlife enthusiasts can join for $25 a year. It includes customizable GIS maps of Arizona's wildlife-management units, up-to-date fish-stocking reports, a window decal and a one-year subscription to Arizona Wildlife Views, the department's bimonthly magazine.

The program is intended to shore up funding for Game and Fish, which receives no tax dollars and relies primarily on hunting- and fishing-license fees. A department official said those fees aren't keeping pace with the cost of wildlife management in Arizona.
