It's March, and that means it's wildflower season in much of Arizona. Looking for the best and brightest blooms? Here are a couple of resources that can help.

  • Rangers at state parks in Arizona are making photos of wildflowers and posting them on the Arizona State Parks Ranger Cam website. You can also call the department's wildflower hotline, 602-542-4174, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays to find out where the flowers are blooming.
  • Phoenix's Desert Botanical Garden operates an online wildflower tracker every March and April. The facility collaborates with Arizona parks and gardens to direct people to wildflower hotspots.
