This photograph was an unexpected shot. I didn't realize I had captured such a beautiful shot of nature until I had uploaded all my photos to Lightroom. I didn't take as many pictures of birds this day so I would consider it a lucky shot, especially because it's in focus, the lighting is great, and the bird is centered.

I was walking around my school campus looking for a shot to take. This birdie made a quick stop, and I was able to take a nature photo fast before the birdie was gone.

Outlooking Beaver Creek after heavy spring rainfall. The rapids rage and the rocky outcroppings of the cave systems surrounding the river stand out.

This pictures shows the Fay Canyon Arch, one of Sedona's hidden features in the mountains. Me and my family hiked up a mountain to see this view overlooking down on the Fay Canyon trail.

I took this photo behind my high school, I really like dead cacti so I thought it would be an amazing photo for the Arizona Highways contest.

I was hiking with my friends and family, we reached the end of the Fay Canyon Trail and we decided to hike up a mountain in front of us. I got to the top of the mountain and saw this beautiful view.

I took this picture when I was camping In Roper Lake State Park. I knew this was the most beautiful picture I have ever taken. Not only did I get the perfect frame, but I was there at the perfect hour. The light gleaming on the water is just so gorgeous to me. I wanted to share this picture with others and hoped some can see the beauty I see.

I took this photo at my high school in Tucson, Arizona. We have a beautiful trail around our school for the track kids and I decided to take a picture of this gorgeous flower.
