The Samaniego Freighters
EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE
As the name implies, this is an emergency service furnished the members whose cars, from any cause, become inoperative on the highways. It means starting your car within thirty minutes, or towing it to the nearest official station. This service is free to members of the Arizona Automobile Association, and members of clubs affiliated with the American Automobile Association on the highway within five miles of any official station.
What This Service Covers
Towing in excess of ten miles will be charged at contract price. Similar service will be furnished throughout the United States and Canada to members of the Arizona Automobile Association by the 1056 clubs affiliated with the American Automobile Association.

Tourists and out-of-town members calling at headquarters will not experience the inconvenience of hunting a parking space. Formerly it was neces sa at times for tourists to park their cars several blocks distant. Through the kindness of City Manager Griggs and Chief of Police Matlock a parking space on Jefferson St. at Central Avenue has been reserved for patrons of the A.A.A.

VAIL JUNCTION TO SONOITA, S.83, 28 MILES. Gravel surfaced, excellent.
CORONADO TRAIL, S.71. Solomonville to Clifton, 26 miles, gravel surfaced, very good. Clifton to Springerville, 126 miles, narrow mountain road, sharp curves and steep grades, very scenic highway.
BENSON-WILLCOX AND STEINS, 97 MILES. Cross tracks at depot, surfaced road 1.5 miles. Graded dirt road 1 mile to San Pedro river. Rough, partly graded road to top of Mesa, followed by 10 miles good road through Texas Canyon. To Dragoon 18 miles; Cochise 10 miles, Willcox 11 miles. (4 miles rough, poor condition. Balance in good condition.
CASA GRANDE-GILA BEND, S. 84, 63 miles, partially improved, rough. Passable except in wet weather.
