Windmill Generators

In the past, windmills were a common sight on farms and ranches, but cheap electricity made them obsolete. Now a generation of windmills, large enough to produce hundreds of kilowatts of power, are being designed and built. In windy parts of the country, such windmills may provide electricity for an entire community. Like water power, wind is an indirect form of solar energy.
