Two of Arizona's most picturesque state parks are making themselves even more attractive for overnight guests by adding camping cabins.

At Lyman Lake State Park, near St. Johns in Northeastern Arizona, the cabins are already available. They feature two rooms, with a full-size bed in the front room and bunk beds in the back room. Campers supply their own linens, but the cabins come with electricity, heating and air conditioning, picnic tables and charcoal grills, and restrooms and showers within walking distance. They can be rented for $65 a night.

Similar cabins are on the way at Alamo Lake State Park, northwest of Wickenburg. They'll be available starting April 1. Rates for those rentals haven't been announced yet. Other state parks with cabins include Roper Lake in Safford and Dead Horse Ranch in Cottonwood.
