100 Years in the Making ...
On February 26, 2019, Grand Canyon National Park celebrated its centennial. To commemorate the milestone, Arizona Highways published a special issue dedicated to the park. On the cover of that issue was an original oil painting by Amery Bohling, a renowned Scottsdale artist whose work is collected around the world. The painting, titled Approaching the Windy Ridge 40x30, is now being auctioned off to raise money for two important organizations: Scottsdale Artists’ School and Grand Canyon Conservancy. Ms. Bohling has long relationships with both organizations. She first attended the school as a student when she was 16. Today, she serves as an instructor and adviser. Her relationship with GCC dates to 2010, when she was one of the featured artists at the nonprofit’s inaugural Celebration of Art. She’s been a juried member ever since.
A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO
GRAND CANYON CONSERVANCY AND SCOTTSDALE ARTISTS’ SCHOOL.
