I was fishing on the river for the first time with my dad and my grandpa who have both been fishing on that river since they were kids.

We were out on a family trip. I was with dad, and my cousin and we were just walking around. I was taking pictures while we were walking. I saw a waterfall not too far from us so I walked over and took a few photos. It was so relaxing to hear the water.

I had to get up pretty early in the morning and climb onto a rock shelf to get this shot, but it was totally worth it!

While I was visiting the Grand Canyon, I saw this raven hopping around on the fence. It seems like people feed him because I could get very close.

I was on a field trip with my school photography group. We decided to stop by Saguaro National Park on the way back to school since it was just on our way back. We drove along a trail and stopped on a hill that gave a gorgeous view of our surroundings. As we took in the fresh air on the cloudy day that it was, we decided to take a few pictures on this hill before getting back onto the road. Before leaving, my eyes caught this cactus that sat right in front of me as I was looking out into the distance. I decided to take a closeup picture of this cactus since nobody else noticed the cactus. As I took the picture of the cactus, I waited for the result that came through. After a second or two, this piece of art was now on my camera. I knew right away that this picture was a keeper.
